High Functioning Autism Support
AHA runs two monthly groups for individuals with autism diagnoses or for those that
suspect that they have them.
1. Long Island: One group in partnership with GRASP (the Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership) meets one Saturday each month from 2:30pm – 4:30pm in Brentwood, Long Island at YAI/555 Washington Avenue. This group discusses topics chosen by the participants at a yearly topic meeting.
2. Manhattan: The other group is in partnership
with Spectrum Services and meets one time monthly in
NYC on Thursdays from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at 303 Fifth Avenue
(between 31st-32nd Streets), Suite 1003. This group discusses topics of interest to the participants.
Children will not be admitted to meetings; we regret any inconvenience, but the presence of young children is distracting to participants.
