AHA runs two monthly groups for individuals with autism diagnoses or for those that
suspect that they have them.
1. One group in partnership with GRASP (the Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership) meets one Saturday each month from 2:30pm 4:30pm in Brentwood, Long Island at YAI/555 Washington Avenue. This group discusses topics chosen by the participants at a yearly topic meeting.
2. The other group is in partnership
with Spectrum Services and meets one time monthly in
NYC on Thursdays from 7:00pm 8:30pm at 303 Fifth Avenue
(between 31st-32nd Streets), Suite 1003. This group discusses topics of interest to the participants.

Support meetings for young adults (18 years
old and over) and adults with Asperger's Syndrome/High
Functioning Autism. Parents are welcome to attend (
one or two meetings), as are clinicians, other family
members, friends, or professionals. However, the format
and subject material are geared towards individuals
with AS/HFA only.

Our meetings are for adults. The presence of children may be distracting and disruptive to participants. We regret any inconvenience; however, children will not be admitted to meetings.
